Staking $TALE tokens is a core component of the PrompTaleAI ecosystem, allowing users to contribute to the platform's security and stability while earning rewards. PrompTale AI's staking mechanism is designed to incentivize long-term participation and align the interests of all stakeholders. By staking $TALE tokens, users not only earn rewards but also actively contribute to the growth and development of the PrompTale AI ecosystem.

Staking Rewards and Ecosystem Participation

Participants in the staking program receive xTALE tokens, which grant voting and participation power within the PrompTale AI Ecosystem. This innovative approach fosters a gasless environment, allowing community members to engage freely in content creation, the launchpad, RWA trading, and other features.

The amount of xTALE received is directly proportional to both the amount of $TALE staked and the duration of the lockup period. Each month, on the 5th, a snapshot of staked $TALE tokens is taken, and xTALE tokens are airdropped accordingly.

Types of Staking Rewards

Base Emissions

Staking $TALE tokens within the PrompTale Ecosystem provides users with base emissions, offering a consistent return on their locked tokens. This steady stream of rewards incentivizes long-term engagement and contributes to the overall stability of the $TALE token, allowing participants to cultivate a reliable income while supporting the platform.

Ecosystem Rewards

Milestone achievements add a dynamic element to staking rewards, allowing users to earn additional emissions when published content reaches significant benchmarks, such as 10 million followers. Variable Rewards

Staking rewards in the PrompTale Ecosystem are not fixed; they fluctuate based on several factors. These include the amount of $TALE staked, the duration of the staking, the total $TALE in the reward pool, and the number of participants in the staking program.

Reward Power

A key aspect of determining staking rewards is the concept of reward power. This is calculated by multiplying the amount of $TALE you have staked by the number of epochs within your chosen lock-up period. For instance, if you stake 1,000 $TALE for one week, your reward power score is 1. However, staking 1,000 $TALE for a month (4 weeks) results in a reward power score of 4,000. The greater your reward power, the higher your potential staking rewards, meaning that longer staking durations yield significantly greater benefits.

To illustrate, consider Betty and Brad. Betty stakes 100 tokens for 2 weeks, while Brad stakes 100 tokens for 4 weeks. If the reward pool each week contains 1,000 tokens, Brad's reward power will be double that of Betty due to his longer staking period. Consequently, he will earn twice the rewards each week. Once Betty's staking period concludes after two weeks, Brad will begin to receive all the rewards as the sole staker.

Claiming Rewards

Participants can claim their rewards every Thursday, one week after they begin staking. Rewards from each epoch, which concludes on specified time and date, can be collected on the following day.

Staking Options

Flexible Staking

Flexible Staking allows users to stake their $TALE tokens without any lockup period. This option provides maximum flexibility, allowing users to unstake their tokens at any time. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Flexible Staking may be dynamic and adjusts in real-time based on the Total $TALE Locked. As more tokens are staked, the APR decreases, and vice versa.

Lockup Staking

Lockup Staking requires users to lock their $TALE tokens for a predetermined period of certain days. In return for their commitment, users receive a fixed APR that remains constant throughout the lockup period. However, they cannot unstake their tokens until the lockup period expires.

Early Unstaking Penalty: If a user chooses to unstake their $TALE tokens before the lockup period ends, a portion of accumulated staking rewards will be forfeited. Additionally, a processing period will required to complete the unstaking and return the tokens to the user's wallet.
